A new football fan zone has opened a short walk from West Ham’s stadium.
Riverside East, in Thornton Street at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, will open the doors of its fan zone for the first time today (August 17).
It comes as West Ham is set to take on Aston Villa later this afternoon, in the club’s first game of the new Premier League season.
Located just a two minute walk from the London Stadium, home of the Hammers, the West Ham fan zone promises a wide range of entertainment and dining.
Guests will be welcomed to every home game to enjoy pre-game commentary and sets from DJ Martin Cee.
Those who turn up early will be able to make the most of happy hour, which features £5 pints of house lager and cider. The deal ends two hours before kick-off.
The venue also offers a range of street food, including East Side Pizza and Winging It.
Only home supporters will be allowed into the fan zone with proof of ticket required for entry.
To guarantee entry, football fans have been urged to book a free ticket, as walk-in capacity is expected to be filled early in the day.
