Firefighters have rescued two people from the scene of a crash involving a lorry and car at a roundabout in Dagenham.
It comes after emergency services were called to Choats Manor Way at around 7.33am this morning.
Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit from Barking and East Ham fire stations were dispatched.
At the scene, the two people were discovered trapped in their vehicles.
They were freed by firefighters and taken to hospital.
Pictures from the scene captured the aftermath of the crash, with traffic building around the roundabout connecting Choats Manor Way and the A13 Ripple Road.
We await an update on the condition of the crash victims.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "A lorry was in collision with a car.
"The driver of the lorry was uninjured and has been spoken to."
