A car has been left overturned next to a Dagenham bus stop in a morning crash.
The incident happened in Wood Lane at Martins Corner near the junction with Longbridge Road at 8.17am today (October 17).
A picture, obtained by the Barking and Dagenham post, shows an overturned car just outside a Post Office next to a bus stop.
Large crowds overlooked the crash site as emergency services worked to recover the scene.
One person was found injured, however, they declined further treatment.
The road was closed off in both directions this morning, with several bus routes diverted including the 5, 145, 364 and EL2.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.17am this morning (Thursday 17 October) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Longbridge Road and Wood Lane in Dagenham.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
“The first of our crews arrived in five minutes.
“Our crews assisted our emergency services partners at the scene. A patient at the scene declined any aid so our crews were stood down.”
