A care worker has pleaded not guilty to a charge of ill-treating or wilfully neglecting a patient.
Abidemi Onasanwo, 51, of Weston Green in Dagenham, is accused of ill-treating or wilfully neglecting a female patient at Queen’s Hospital in Romford on September 1 last year.
Onasanwo was not employed by the trust which runs Queen's.
On Friday (August 30) Onasanwo appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
When asked how she pleads, she replied: "I am not guilty".
Judge Timothy Greene set a trial date for March next year with a time estimate of three to four days.
