A man arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Dagenham has been released.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed today (April 23) that the man has now been released without further action.
Police launched a murder probe after a 23-year-old man died from stab injuries after he was found by police in Flamstead Road at around 1.30pm on Saturday (April 20).
The arrested man had also sustained stab injuries, but these were not life-threatening and he was detained after being released from the hospital.
There has been no update on the identity of the 23-year-old victim and it is unclear if his family have been informed of his death.

The Met are yet to make any new arrests in connection with the incident.
Officers have urged anyone with information or any witnesses to call the police on 101 citing reference 621/20APR.
