A man has been arrested in Barking following a stand-off with police.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were alerted to a disturbance at a property in Hurstbourne Gardens yesterday (March 25) at 5.10pm.
The road was taped off whilst officers spoke with the man, who was allegedly armed with an air weapon.
Locals reported the "police have guns" and that nobody was allowed "in or out" during the incident.
The road is believed to have reopened now after it remained closed at 10.58pm last night.
