A woman in her 50s has been found dead in a park.
The body was found before 9am yesterday (Tuesday, April 11) at Mayesbrook Park in Lodge Avenue, Dagenham.
Police were called at 8.56am to reports of an unresponsive woman in the park.

A 52-year-old woman was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman's next of kin have been informed.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "The death is being treated as unexpected, but is not thought to be suspicious.
"A file will be prepared for the coroner."
