A man has been arrested after he was stabbed on board an east London bus.
The 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon after he was found with stab injuries on a Route 62 bus in Longbridge Road, Barking.
Police were called to the scene at 2pm on Tuesday (February 21), to reports of a stabbing on the bus.
The man was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A police spokesperson said that there had been no further arrests at this early stage and that enquiries continue.
