Wetherspoon pubs in east London are still up for sale, months after they were put on the market.
In September last year, the chain announced its “commercial decision” to list 32 pubs for sale, and now seven more have been added to that list.
These are:
- The Miller’s Well in East Ham
- The Hudson Bay in Forest Gate
- The Last Post in Loughton, Essex
While the pubs have gone up for sale, this does not mean they will definitely close, and they will remain open as Wetherspoon pubs until they are sold.
A spokesperson for Wetherspoon confirmed there are no closing dates for any of the pubs.
Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: "On occasion Wetherspoon does put some of its pubs up for sale.
"This is a commercial decision.
"We understand that customers and staff will be disappointed with it.
"The pubs will continue to operate as Wetherspoon outlets until they are sold."
