A 52-year-old man is to appear in court charged with terror offences.
Khalid Javed Baqa, of Barking, was yesterday charged with the production and distribution of extremist material encouraging others to commit acts of terrorism, contrary to Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
He was remanded in custody at Westminster Magistrates Court to appear at the Central Criminal Court on June 30.
Searches continue at a residential address in Barking.
The incident is not linked to the investigation into the London Bridge terrorist attack.
