Pat SMITH It is with great sadness that Philip, Stephen and Hilary announce the death of their mother, Pat Smith, on 11th April. The funeral will be at St Albans Church, Albert Road, Ilford, IG1 1HS at midday on Monday 29th April and will be followed by committal at City of London Crematorium, Aldersbrook Road, London, E12 5DQ at 1.30pm. Pat worked at Ethel Davis School in Barley Lane from the late 1960s to the late 1980s. She went on to work for the Language Support Service until her retirement, during which she continued to listen to young readers across Redbridge. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to A G Butler & Son, 333 Green Lane, Ilford, IG3 9TL. Please make cheques out either to Christian Aid or Valentines Park Conservationists.
