Bernard Telfer

Bernard Telfer passed away peacefully on 29th October 2013 aged 91 and is now reunited with his beloved wife Vi. He took part in the D-Day landings, navigating landing craft on Sword Beach and was a past President and well-known figure on the International Indoor Bowls Circuit. The funeral will take place on Monday, 18th November 2013 at 2.20pm at the South Essex Crematorium, Ockendon Road, Corbets Tey, RM14 2UY. No flowers please, but donations to the English Bowling Associations Charity Trust c/o B. Wallis and Sons, 25, Faircross Parade, Barking IG11 8UW.
