COOKE Frank
COOKE Frank (Francis) 85, formerly of Beckenham, Kent, passed away on 10th August after a short illness. Frank represented Eden Park Ward on Beckenham council and, later, Bromley council for over 30 years. He was Deputy Mayor of Bromley in 1985-6, and Leader of Bromley Council in 1996-7. In 2008, he was made an Honorary Alderman of Bromley. Frank retired from the council in 1998 and moved with his wife, Joy, to Minster-on-Sea, Isle of Sheppey, where he lived quietly until shortly before his death. He leaves four children and eight grandchildren. Funeral mass at St Henry & St Elizabeth RC Church, Sheerness, at 12 noon on 6th September. All welcome. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory to Save the Elephants and the Alzheimers Society.
