A man in his 40s has been taken to hospital with facial injuries after an "assault" in Dagenham.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service crews rushed to an address in Hitherfield Road, Dagenham, just before 9.30pm last night (November 2) following an "incident".
The Met Police have now confirmed officers received reports that a man had been assaulted.
Once at the location, they found a man in his 40s with facial injuries.

He was taken to hospital "as a priority" by ambulance crews - however, his injuries have been deemed "not life-threatening".
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "Police were called to Hitherfield Road at 9.20pm on Saturday, November 2 following reports a man had been assaulted.
"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the location and found a man in his 40s with facial injuries.
"At this stage in the investigation there have been no arrests and enquiries continues."
