Lady Blackbird will be performing in Barking as part of a Londonwide jazz festival.
The singer, who appeared on BBC programme The Graham Norton Show last month, is to take to the stage at the Broadway Theatre on Saturday, November 19.
It is part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, which is running more than 300 shows at numerous venues across the capital between November 11 and 20.

Los Angeles-based Lady Blackbird - real name Marley Munroe - released her debut album Black Acid Soul last year.
Barking and Dagenham Council leader Darren Rodwell said: “I am very pleased and excited that the EFG London Jazz Festival will be yet again coming to Barking and Dagenham.
"We are a borough rich in culture and the London Jazz Festival is a welcome addition to our already illustrious and diverse programme of events.
"I hope our residents enjoy the shows and the community workshops that are taking place as part of it.”
Five stars in the art of spontaneous composition, curated by event creator, organiser and music photographer George Nelson, will also perform on Sunday, November 13 at events space The Wilds at Barking Riverside.
